1.Rock Star clutches + Gecker Engines=5th 1&2 finish in a row at 2 tracks . Thanks Sheldon and Brian! You Guys Rock!... If anyone wants to know who builds the Best Clutches and Engines look no further.
2.we probably have 35 races on ours and have not had to do anything to it except clean it out and it still works as good as the day we got it.
3. Just wanted to let everyone know this.....
I bought a Rock Star clutch at Kartfest. It wasn't an easy decision, as there were many new ones. It is, without a doubt, the best investment I have ever made in karting.
I have never owned a clutch before, but didn't know it. I have had Bully, Viper, Horstman, etc, and they all got my kart from point A to point B. The difference is, none of the others have ever launched my kart. I can honestly grab positions on the start, even if my kart isn't quite up to par (of course, look out for the first turn). To top it all off, I had the famous clutch gurus to blueprint my other clutches, after I paid the big money for them, NEW. I am running the rock star directly out of the box. WOW!!!
I have ran it for about 7 race nights so far, stripped it down, and it looks new. This is probably not going to sell Gecker many of their friction discs--doesn't look like they'll wear out anytime soon....
If you see anyone with one of these, ask them about it. Bad thing is, these things are so good, you may not get the truth........
